Oral Histories

The oral histories have been all but done. With a hundred plus done it's been a full on job, shared by all the volunteers who undertook the oral history training way back in spring.

 There were group recordings of the founders and oral histories taken as people came to see NoFit State for other reasons, and trips to Glastonbury, London, Bristol and Bath to take some more.

 Sophie went out into the wilds of Bristol and Bath and brought back 7 oral histories single handed - brilliant!

The project is lucky to have Liz organising the oral history recordings, as she had just previously been involved in another oral history project - The Trowbridge Song Project so took on this massive work.

Jo and Catrin put in sterling efforts collecting numerous oral histories

The oral histories are a major part of the new NoFit State archive website, giving lots of different people, from laots of different disciplines connected with NFS in lots of different ways, a voice of there own about their past experience with the company.
