The Paper Trail

All the paper material will be settled in Glamorgan Archive once it has been found and sorted. Toby
The space where American-influenced
Toby and the Cardiff University
youngsters met
has been sifting and sorting through everything during January, and is beginning to realise just how much of a paper trail has been created by NoFit, but has not been swallowed by it but has strategically placed boxed files and and poster storage around the archive office

Just collecting the poster and the programme or flyer for every show illustrates the
technological revolution that has occurred over the last three decades. From the bright and cheerful early examples of pc days - pre-computer! - to the glossy and sumptuous latest ones.

This reflects the fact that NoFit has always striven to improve. Then naturally picked up quickly improved ways of producing publicity and information. Ali even got one of the brick mobile phone whose battery lasted half a minute, probably before many Yuppies had heard of them!

One of the fab things about reading the early material
is the memories that get triggered. Did you see these shows?

A hundred and fifty years from now someone could request the programmes and posters in the Glamorgan Archives and line them up next to each other and track the changes. WOW!
